The winter season is always the busiest time of the year for our beloved sport of Monster Truck Racing.  One of the biggest racing series in the country is none other than Ed and Linda Beckley's Checkered Flag Productions "Monster Truck Winter Nationals", which swarms many of the smaller arenas in the United States and rocks the house every time.  Always anticipated on the tour is the annual stop in Salisbury, MD at the Wicomico Civic Center - which always lands on the calendar around the time January turns to February.  This year again, the Beckleys brought six Monster Trucks to play.  Also this year, the play-by-play calls would be made by legendary announcer Ken Dickinson, well-known for announcing the NJHRA events in NJ and VA, Diehl Wilson shows, and more.

Back again for 2005 would be the awesome Wizard Ride Truck, owned and operated by Rich, Gina, and Steven Walker.

Also like in 2004, The Beckleys and Shawn Hancock went above and beyond by providing my Mom and I with weekend passes once again.  A big Thanks to the them, the rest of the staff at CFP Racing, and the Walkers!

Also in the news, Aftershock's regular driver Bob Robbins would not be driving this weekend in Salisbury due to personal reasons.  His brother, Pete Robbins from Daytona Beach, FL flew in to fill the weekend's driving duties.

Also featured in the shows were the always popular Tuff Truck Competition, and "Diamond" Dan Carter with his Jet powered Quad "PSYCHO".
