Monster Truck Racing: Finals

RAMinator vs. Bigfoot

The two big names of the night would go head to head in the side-by-side Monster Truck Racing Finals, for all the bragging rights of the night.  The trucks staged, brought the revs up and waited for the green light to flash.  Once it did it was hammer down from two powerhouses, but off the Starting Line it was Geremie Dishman who got the wholeshot.  Over the first hill it was the red Dodge RAMinator, but in no-man's land Dan Runte got on the gas hard in attempt to play catch-up, but in the end it was no use trying as RAMinator beat out Bigfoot by a bumper.  With the having gone to Geremie Dishman, getting stopped would be another thing.  Due to Dan Runte's effort to pass Geremie, Bigfoot came off the second hill a little off center which sent Bigfoot into a spin on the landing.  With the truck spinning to the left, the right side wheels came clear off the ground and looked as if there would be a roll, but Dan was able to feather the throttle just enough to prevent the tires still on the ground from digging in too much.  With Bigfoot finally at a stop, Geremie Dishman drove to the center of the track and saluted the crowd where he later was interviewed by Ed Beckley.
