Riverhead Raceway is the place to be on Long Island when time comes to the Labor Day weekend.  Each year, that weekend at the end of August/beginning of September represents the most anticipated weekend of events to hit the mile asphalt oval.  This is the time the Monster Trucks come out and play on a double-header performance; once on Saturday night and once on Sunday afternoon.  Each day is full of other typical races you would usually find at Riverhead Raceway as well, but the Monster Trucks are just irresistible.  Also this year, Calvin Carrington of the AMTA would not be promoting the Monster Trucks.  A new man was brought in to run the show, Jack Brady of KSR Motorsports out of Pennsylvania.

The Riverhead Monster Truck weekend is always something I look forward to a lot, as it is only about 25-30 miles from my house.  This year was special though, as it was the first time we were able to make it out to both performances (since it is so close).  Jack Brady brought three Monsters with him to compete in his Freestyle series.  They were:

Thrasher
