This year the course was a straight line.  Off the line was a 2 car roller, a nice long

no-man's land, and then a row of 3 cars, then a quick run to the Finish Line.

Round 1

 

Eradicator vs. Big Dawg

 

Off the line both drivers got good and even starts, but Big Dawg soaked up the no-man's land beautifully, passing Andy Slifko and Eradicator by the cars and taking the first Round 1 Race win.

Sudden Impact vs. RAMinator

 

Over in the far lane, Seasock got the slightest hole shot over the big red Ram off the line.  Hall settled RAMinator in no-man's land and at the cars lead, keeping the lead and taking the win over Sudden Impact by a mere half a truck length.

Both trucks airborne as they approach the Finish Line - the advantage and lead to Mark Hall and RAMinator.

 

 

Black Stallion vs. RAMmunition

 

Off the start and over the roller both Black Stallion and RAMmunition were dead even, but coming to the row of cars, Vaters was able to get a run on Benear and take the lead, holding it to the line where he went onto put Black Stallion in the Semis with a win.

Vaters keeps the Stallion on line for the win while Benear goes shy high in the far lane.

 

 

Summit vs. Bigfoot

 

Off the starting line, Greg Adams got a slight hole shot over Dan Runte and Bigfoot, but Runte got on the gas hard in no-man's land, took the lead and kept it, winning the last heat of Round 1 in Bigfoot.
